Nestling between Halstead and Colchester, the Colne Valley is an undiscovered secret!

We have a small service Ice Cream Shop here at our farm, stop by and stock up with our Ice Creams and Sorbets.

Home Farm, Colne Engaine was part of the ancient Colne Park Estate...

Our family has farmed here since 1953, and the best things remained unchanged.

We have a small pedigree herd of South Devon beef cattle, and a flock of North Country sheep which gently graze the once grand parkland.

Carefully managed, the ponds still offer wildlife havens as do the grasses of the parkland which have been undisturbed since planted all those years ago.

Sir John Soane's Magnificent Monument

Built in 1792, this 70ft high column made out of bath stone was designed by Sir John Soane who designed the Bank of England.  It has a copper urn at the top which blew off in the gales of 1992, and was restored and proudly reinstated.
